Online Draft Book Publishing
We can present groups of drafts on this website as online books. All the drafts from a book can be viewed together, and the detail page for each
has information about the book it came from and a link to see all the others from that book.
If the drafts originated from publication such as a printed book or cd-rom, each draft's listing can contain information about the publication, including
a picture of its cover, and where to purchase it.
This is a great way to increase
sales of your weaving publications or awareness of your organization at no cost. In return for permission for us to publish some or all drafts
from your publication, users viewing these have a link to purchase the printed version directly from you!
See our draft books page to view some examples of online draft books.
Creating an Online Draft Book
First add all of the drafts for the book to the website. If these are already stored as WIF files, you can do this yourself using the
draft upload page. If you have paper drafts instead, we have written specialized software for turning these into WIFs
and can input these quickly for you.
We need the following information from you to group the drafts together as a book once they have been stored on the site:
- Book Title
- List of the Drafts for this Book
- Description
- Author(s) / Publisher
If you have a large collection of drafts to contribute, send them to us and we can load these as a group rather than having to upload each individually.
Referencing a Source Publication
If the drafts in the book are from another publication and you want it to be referenced with each of them, we need the following additional information if applicable:
- International Standard Book Number (ISBN)
- Library of Congress Number (LC)
- Cover Image, .PNG, .GIF, or .JPG format
- Company Name, Website Address, Phone, where the Publication can be Purchased
- Publication Date
- Publisher Website Address
